Reordering supplies without filling every shelf

A useful reorder routine connects actual usage to supplier lead time and available storage. The goal is a clear decision process rather than a stockroom full of guesses.

Count in the units you buy

Keep a consistent stock unit for each item: bags, tubs, bottles, sleeves, or rolls. Record opened containers separately when their remaining contents matter to the next order.

Compare usage with drinks served and preparation records. Large differences can reveal portion variation, waste, counting errors, or an ingredient used in more recipes than expected.

Consider timing and storage together

Ask the supplier about current lead time and order requirements. Check storage space, product shelf life, and your actual handling procedures before increasing quantities.

Keep a practical review schedule for essentials such as tea, pearls, cups, film, and straws. Consumable compatibility matters just as much on a repeat order if a specification changes.

Give substitutions a review step

Record which alternatives have been tested and approved. A replacement cup can affect sealing, a replacement syrup can change sweetness, and a replacement tea can alter the house flavor.

Include the full product description and pack size in a quote request. The MILK TEA LLC cart can organize an estimated list; final availability and pricing are confirmed by email.

Make it work for your station.
