A house milk tea starts with a tea that still has something to say after milk, sweetness, ice, and toppings join the cup. Choose it in the finished drink, not only in a tasting of plain tea.

Set one cup size, one milk, one syrup level, and one ice portion before comparing teas. Brew each candidate to its own supplier instructions, then use the same finished-drink proportions. This makes flavor differences easier to identify.
Taste immediately and again after a short, consistent interval. A drink that is balanced on the counter can taste different after ice begins to melt. Record the interval so the comparison is repeatable.
A bold black tea can anchor your classic menu. Jasmine offers a floral direction, while roasted oolong creates a deeper, toasted profile. A second base should add a meaningful choice without doubling every preparation task.
Describe what customers can taste in familiar terms: malty, floral, roasted, or brisk. Avoid an elaborate origin story unless you have verified information about the actual tea you buy.
Keep the winning recipe with the supplier product code, leaf weight, water volume, brewing directions, finished yield, and tasting notes. When a new delivery arrives, compare a small batch before committing the whole station.
If you change the tea, taste your reduced-sugar and alternative-milk versions again. A substitution can affect more than the classic recipe.
Use current supplier instructions and the specifications of your actual equipment. For product compatibility, parts, or a supply quote, contact sales@milkteallc.com.
